My friend's looking for a new car,
right now he's split between an Aristo & a FD3S RX7
I want to help him out and would like some suggestions
on what you guys would prefer to drive..
I know the Aristo would be a more reliable daily driven car,
but a well maintained FD3S can also be very reliable to be driven daily.
I own a FD3S myself, but he would like other input.
Thanks in advance.

| RX7. Aristos are terrible cars. |

I personally don't drive mine in the winter
he has no problem with putting his away for storage either |

why do you think so?
I know other people that will claim
that the Aristo is a very great car |

To be honest, he really doesn't even care.
But I think that the Aristo has a more powerful engine to be tuned with.
Seeing as it's the same engine on most MKIV Supra's,
and they have in the past been tuned to 1000 hp+ |

RX-7 = high maintenance, impractical, looks better than an Aristo IMO, bad on gas, pretty common around town in comparison to Aristos
Aristo = lower on maintenance, practical, less common than an FD, better than an FD on gas, doesn't look as good as an FD
My suggestion would be to get an Aristo, you can make them fast, they're less headache to work on & maintain, luxury and practical (4 doors & 4 seats), more of a sleeper |

Id say aristo.
fd's are a very hit or miss for what you get when you bring them over
also the aristo is pretty quick for a 4 dr sedan, which also looks nice if you drop it and put rims on it:thumbup: |

| I put my vote on the RX7. Screw 4 door family cars. Does your friend have a family? I'm guessing not so why do you need 4 doors. |

| Considering it's almost winter, I'd tell him to wait. But it depends what he wants.. there's a ton of pro's and cons for each car.. but it's going to be his car.. So whatever he wants to do with it, the look etc... One car is going to weigh better for him than the other. We can't superly tell him what he's going to like more :dunno: |

Thanks for the all the imput guys.
My friend has decided to go with a yellow FD3S,
kind of what I wanted him to go with in the first place.
=)
He has a very well maintained 240 for the winter,
and it has been usually been used as a winter beater anyway. |

For my aristo i have about $2000 in mods (boost controller, exhaust, intake, boost cut defender, fuel pump), well a little under $2000 there
and running 18psi my car runs high 13's, pulls very hard on the highway, and i still havn't added a font mount intercooler
i can drive it in winter if i want because i have the tires to do so, and it shouldn't be too bad
the downside to an aristo, don't buy one because me and chrommey want to keep them rare:mad: hahahahahahaha
rx7's, winter seems like a bad idea, roatry i dunno still sketch on them
comes down to do u want auto or manual?
do you want passangers??? cus the back seats in a fd are useless unless u just wanna hold a hoodie
do you want something really reliable? |

Passengers isn't a big deal for him, but he's chosen the fd3s.
should he single or twin turbo it? |

If you're asking that question i suggest that he doesn't even buy an FD. There too many little things that you normally may think will just add power and then you'll end up blowing the motor and calling the rotary shit.
Buy an Aristo. |
