If you have your own hoist and are compentent enough to do this with minimal assistance (me being the minimal assistance), you can have my D16 that just died on me. I'm not going through the trouble of troubleshooting it. It died gracefully a few days ago. I knew it had a valve cover leak. The previous owner ghetto rigged metal straps hold the cover down. Oil leak is really bad from the cover. You'll at least need a new gasket for that.

I just want that engine gone. Yes, the tranny goes with it. I'm not sure which D16 it is but I have a 93 Del Sol Si if that helps. I'm pretty sure I don't need the ECU.

** UPDATE: Looks like the Del Sol Si has the D16Z6 like you wanted and it's a manual transmission **

For free, even if the engine is toast, you've got lots of parts to make finding everything else that much easier. The car was running up until a few days ago. I just rolled to a stop on a service road. No loud noises, jerkiness or anything when the engine died.

It still cranks when I try to start the car.

Might I ask what you plan on doing with the D16?

Thanks for clearing out my engine bay guys! :) Hope you enjoy the engine. If you figure out why it died, I'm still curious to know.
