Hi,
As I read some of the posts here...I noticed that some were looking for stickers...
It would be cool to see members here to have sticker on their ride.
Anyway, I'm engaged in signmaking business and if anyone wants to have stickers or vinyl into their rides...I would gladly help you out guys.
I have also started vinyl wrapping interior (which is an alternative to painting interiors)....but still in the process of completion.
Have you come out with the design? Thanks! |

Hehe, vinyl wraping eh? Fiero headliners are prone to seperation, and I HATE the fabric they use.. any chance it could be done in grey vinyl? what kinda dollar figure am I lookin at here?

James,
I'm still in the process of completion (its a better alternative to interior painting)...at least if you decided to change color...it can be done with less hassle.
But its not easy 'coz its very LABOR intensive...about the $$$ figure it depends on the complexity of work.
Have you ever gone to other shop that does this? Try to inquire about their prices...and maybe I can give you a very competitive price without hurting your pocket :) |

Geez that great!
Maybe after you have come up with the design (with everyone's approval)..you'll see a side decal on the window of each member here.
And can recruit other owners of MR2 here in Edmonton. |

| Does putting decals on your car wreck your paint in the future? Once I put a 3M Flourescent sticker and when I went to take it off 1 year later it was a real f0cker and I ended up scraping off/damaging the paint trying to remove it. Even had to use acetone. <--bad stuff (the king of goo removers) :tear: |

There are a lot of stickers which is difficult to remove & could ruin the paint job. The longer time the sticker is bonded, the more difficult to remove it.
You just have to be extra careful when removing them...Also, using powerful solvents (Alcohol, Acetone) make it worst.
Did the paint peeled of together with the sticker when you peeled it off? |

When removing stickers, Ive always had good results cutting (with an exacto knife) thru the first layer to sticker to the glue, and spraying WD40 on it.. Then using an bug sponge, or brush to work the stuff into the cuts.. Let it sit for a while and the glue will disolve eventually...
This does nothign for the fading below tho :)
