Good Golf Courses - Click HERE for Original Thread

I need a course that is decent, has carts, and isnt full of serious players. I have a group of girls that want me to take them, and being that I am the person who actually plays Im anticipating the worst. I want carts so I dont have to hear them bitch when they get tired and since I am the only one with clubs I also need somewhere that either allows less bags than players or rents clubs. Any ideas here

What is your dollar range around? I'm a member at the derrick and I would not suggest there haha but my dad owns a golf cart company so I have been to pretty much every course in and around edmonton.

I take it your looking for something easier, less expensive and leniant towards dress codes...

If you live near the southside of town i would recommend pioneer meadows, in the northend try the garrison course, in the east there is always rundle park golf course..

If you can elaborate more I may be able to help you out.

If it was just me then I would be looking for higher end course but your right, I need somewhere with a lax dress code and what not. Easy is good becuase of the skill level of the group but price isnt really a big factor. Im in the south end

If you're on the south east i would say for what you're looking for and price go to Country Side,Eagle Rock or Legends.Pioneer Meadows is too expesive for what you get,if you don't mind the drive go to Fort-in-view.Rundle Park is in good shape,my son was in the Journal's junior golf tournment on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Just go to Millwoods. Decent course. Not bad, relatively easy and easy to find.

river ridge is decent. golf course is actually kinda nice and they could care less about what you wear, as long as its not jean shorts and a wife beater.

Cougar Ceek and The Ranch are nice courses but probably too exensive and too tough.Millwoods, last time i was there the greens were butchered nothing but sand on #8 are they better now?River Ridge is definately scenic not sure what they charge.
