Ok, so I got a new comp and I want to find some games that will knock me on my ass for graphics and gameplay.
Doesnt matter if it FPS,RPG,Strategy or whatever. Just not sports games cause they're boring as fawk.
I recently downloaded Doom3 although its a year old, and I'm downloading Bioshock as we speak.

need for speed unlimited, doom 3 on veteran(if u make it that high) will freak u out aslong as its dark and the sound is cranked.

That's actually a fucking wicked game haha...
Try Supreme Commander. Huge RTS game that should tax your computer.
Or LOMAC. It's been out for a couple years, but it should still bring your system to it's knees with all the graphics cranked.
Or Silent Hunter IV. I dunno if you have the patience for that one, though... :)

Silent hunter has a steep learning curve, I'll get back to that when I have time :)
Stalker was fun, but there are many tweaks out there that make the game so much better. ie pointless dialogue which is rampant in the game.
Oblivion I got bored of very quickly.
I've always enjoyed the Hitman series. Hitman: Blood money was very complex in the higher levels.
A good sorta classic is always Tron 2.0.
I'm surprised noone has mentioned the GTA series. I loved the Grand Theft Auto series. Some stages require a controller to play properly.
Ghost Recon Advanced warriro I and II were ok, but your teammates couldn't shoot their way out of a picnic. |

Agian, another vote for BioShock.
Call Of Duty 2 - With all the setting cranked, the winter maps are freaking awesome beacuse it shows you each and every snow flake float and swural around. Even though the gams is over 2 years old, it's still my fav FPS.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat - Sould be out before the end of the year.
MS Flight Sim 10 - I don't normally bother with flight sims but if you have a directX 10 vid card, the graghics for this game is amazing. |

If you like Flight Sims and realism, there's a remake of Falcon 4.0 that'll bring a tear to your eye. It's called Falcon 4.0: Allied Force. Dynamically generated campaigns, 2 theatres of operation, and to date remains the worlds most realistic flight modelling.
Sure, it's a few years old, and the original came out for a 486, but it was 2 years before there was a PC fast enough to play it with settings cranked, and the re-released upgraded some of the graphics. You can look around and know where you're looking by the instrumentation reflections in your canopy.
And let me tell you, you'll shit bricks. My first mission I went out with 4 wingmen, hit my IP and the sky exploded around me. Intelligence had failed to notice the SAM site we were turning over when they plotted the course and all my wingmen were taken out in the first shot. I was lucky, I lived for another 4 seconds, just long enough to hear bitching betty inform me I'd been painted before I got dropped. That game never gets old.
Oblivion looks good, but I got bored of it fast too. GRAW2 looks nice...........but it sucks. I grab a sniper rifle and do the levels myself because your team is horrible. Luckily the enemy AI is just as bad so you can handle it all.
Supreme Commander bored me. For RTS I found Company of Heroes to be much better. I love Medieval 2 Total War as well. Civ 4 is good for passing the time too.
Medal of Honor: Airborne looks decent too, comes out tomorrow I think. |

is this before RETURN to castle wolfenstein. because that game was freakin awesome. like best game play ever. for multiplayer anyway. makes me want to play it again. or maybe enemy territory!
