More or less my last time at the track this year. I have a few friends coming down from Ft Mac to race & I have a date with a Viper (if he shows up)...

I also hope that a few Supra's show up (maybe some MKIV's) if they're not to much of a pussy

Anyway Hope to see & meet some more new people there.

p.s. A little birdie told me that there might be a 9sec import there (or 10sec) :dunno:

I might come out, last friday was pretty awesome times. I think I'll up the boost a tad too, I'd love to break 100 and into the 13's

jzz30tt
Just found out i'm not coming, i've got a cracked rim!

Anyone know where to find a 17x9 +42 offset Wedsport TC005? they're apparently discontinued.

Godzilla
get that shit fixed, i highly recommend egberts. almost always same or next day service, good quality work and great pricing.

This lil birdies name doesn't happen to start with an "A" does it?

newred
Both wrong

chris f
nope, "R"

jzz30tt
Talked to Egberts about the rim and they said it should be no problem and they can deal with it right away. Great price too but we'll see after it's done. Sounded like good guys to deal with over the phone, they're a Rod shop aren't they?

GOT BOOST
I'm in.

I plan to show up about 5:30 ish

For those who already have a current tech pass do they need to go through tech again or can they just get their numbers and then line up.

We will see you ladies there.

I'm torn,

10 C w/ chance of thunder showers and a 40% P.O.P.

Do I go to the drags or the football game.

Shit.

flatboy
pissing a bit of rain right now in Nisku, but I don't think it'll stay.

I'll update the weather around 4:30

4:28 weather report - Nisku

Big fluffy, wet looking clouds, and a slight breeze. Mostly looks like the odd sprinkle here and there, much the same as last Friday night.

I'll give another report between 5 and 5:30 as I'll still be out here.

flatboy
its starting to sprinkle again.

GOT BOOST
I ran my best time on my last run tonight.

ran 14.256 @ 98.99 mph. .90 Bar with a 45% Duty Cycle.

60 foot 2.301
330 foot 6.108
1/8 mile 9.281 @ 78.22 mph
1000 foot 11.975
1/4 mile 14.256 @ 98.99 mph.

What I did differently, focused on the launch and ignored the lights once I learned a bit more about them. I let the clutch out slower, but still squawked the tires when the clutch was let out. Launched at 3500 rpm. Next run will be at 3000 RPM.

Good run & good to meet you:thumbup:

My best was a 13.6 @ 111.9 @ 16psi
I had c12 In the car, but I could get the boost up. I wanted to be at 20 psi  I still not sure how to work this boost controller:mad: Oh well
The only good thing is that my buddies in his viper ran a 12.7 @ 111mph ( I ran a 13.6 @ 111.mph) But his 0-60was 1.9 my was 2.4:rolleyes: Next time

Oh I see that there was a 10sec Inport & it wasn't a SRT4 ... at the track tonight:holy:

impulser
I heard that they even put an Import in the hitter lane???

crzyone
It was my first time at the track, and my best run was my last one as well.

13.6@100mph. AWD launches FTW. My car is pretty much stock. A catback exhaust and intake. Still running stock boost, 0.65 bar or 9psi. I would think 12s are possible with a boost controller set at 1 bar, downpipes and a decat.

Nice to meet you guys, I had a blast.

My first run ever I beat a new STi, my 13.8 to his 13.9. I was pretty happy about that :D

Best run
60' 1.8
330 ---- Right lane was not working
1/8 8.7@78mph
1000' 11.4
1/4 13.6 @ 100mph

ChromeDragon
WTF is the hitter lane?:dunno:

A 5th lane they open up for the heavy hitters (fast cars requiring better track prep)
