Looks good/clean. I must be getting old though, I would much rather have trunk space. :p

Does that car have "BMW BOY" as it's plate?

Agreed. But not cause I'm old, just cause I like to reduce the weight of my car, not add to it.

cant handle a little sarcasm? it would be better than any install that I could do if I tried to do more than replace a deck and component speakers since I cant stand subs. It looks like a clean install though (not sarcastic)

Bitskyline
it sounded pretty good but since it was a convertible it wasn't too loud inside, mostly nice quality.

TSI2NV
I hated the fact that we had to use such unattractive amps a jl 500/1 and 300/4 would have been way better and looked so much sexier!!

Blackout-spec
looks good. i hope with all the effort you are going to at least open the trunk from time to time and show it off.

the ghetto way to install a sub; amp screwed to back of seat, and sub bolted to the floor.
did someone said exposed wires?
how about exposed floor. my ballin ass trunk.

Bitskyline
eh w/e it does the job. turn your sub around so its facing the rear of the car, you'll get more bass

Blackout-spec
hey thanks for the tip!
enjoy your new system!

Bitskyline
....umm... actauly... thats not mine.... yea.....

Blackout-spec
I am smart, SMRT!
haha reading is hard.

replay
nice job just a question why do u have one rockford and one clarion amp two different brands

Bitskyline
The rockford and clarion amps are because thats what the customer had... I wish we could have used matching amps for that car.. like i said before a JL 500/1 and a 300/4 would have looked great. with those two i could have designed the box differntly too, to look a lot better.

StainedMattress
i like it

Bitskyline

white_crx89
thats clean as hell bro. nice install.

Blackout-spec
just wondering, where do you buy that fabric to cover the fiberglass boxes?

Bitskyline
grill cloth... i am not sure we have a buyer for A&B he does all that stuff.

Blackout-spec
i want to over the winter try to fab up a custom box, but i need to cover it. I have never seen the fabric in any stores yet.
Thanks anyways.

-the.k.w.c-
wow for a&b sound to actualy still have customers is pretty cool its not that great of a job if u can still see wires .....

and if you are talking about the carpet to carpet a box when its done you cant get that in any stores u have to get it from a shop ........and if you are talking about what fabric u use to wet the resin on .....if this chump from a&b sound dont know what fabric u use then he doent know anything

Blackout-spec
ill need both, the fabric that you lay down over the wood, that you cover in fiberglass, and the carpet that you cover the box with.

that was rude and uncalled for. i have only been doing this as my career for about a year. also you haven't seen any of my other installs.

that was the first time i have ever reverse mounted subs and i am proud that it actually worked and looks good.

Fpr the fabric that you lay down, the best stuff you can use is sheets of cotton cause when you put the resin on the cotton it is the easiest to sand down and make smooth..
As for carpeting the box once your done. You can go into most car audio shop and buy the carpet its not very expensive.. And any kind of arisol spray glue will hold it down.. If you want to vinyl the box and give it a more custom look, the vinyl is a little more costly and you will however need to use stronger glue..
