The itinerary for BC2003 has been planned as follows:
Friday, August 15th - Night:
• Pre-registration pick-up at the Ramada Inn (19267 Lougheed Highway, Pitt Meadows)
• At approximately 7:30pm, pre-registered attendees will then be entertained via one of three options:
- A scenic drive through the attractions of Vancouver.
- A scenic drive to Mission Speedway for an evening of local drag racing.
- A guided tour of Vancouver's best shopping stores/malls.
For the guys/gals who are coming to support their significant other, but have no interest in the first two options, the last option is the perfect opportunity for you to let your significant other go and watch, grunt, and drool, while you spend some time and money on yourself!
Saturday, August 16th:
• Show & Shine (S&S) at West Coast Detail (19120 Lougheed Highway, Pitt Meadows) with a food vendor on site and many door prizes.
Competitions to be held in the following categories:
- Best MK1, MKII, and MKIII.
- Best Mod'ed '2.
- Farthest Driven '2
- People's Choice Award
• An early afternoon Scavenger Hunt or Dyno Pull (depending on what your interests are). The Scavenger Hunt will start at approximately 3:00pm and involve a strategic drive through-out the Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Abbotsford areas!!!
• At approximately 5:00pm, all will reconvene for an outdoor Summer BBQ/Award dinner at a local park in Abbotsford.
• Hill Crest Drive-in (18694 Fraser Hwy, Surrey) for group pictures and 3-Movies under the clear night stars.
Sunday, August 17th:
• Scenic back-road drive to our Auto-X location.
• At approximately, 11:00am in the D-lot of BCIT (entrance off of Wayburne Ave), Auto-Xing will commence.
• Event wrap-up.
• Escort our American visitors to the border to see them off in true BCMR2 style.
Updated information will continue to be added to this page as it becomes available, as well as to the BC2003 Event Thread on the message board.
Hotel accommodations for our out-of-town guests is also being looked into and will be announced as soon as we can get information and rates.
