| I think Im gonna go to Bud Park tommorrow If the weather is good. Anyone else interested in seeing what they will run and want to come with? Im off work at 6:30 pm so I would be heading out right after that. What time does tech go till anyways? anyone know? |

Well I ran pretty crappy... I dunno if it was just cause it was friday the 13th or mabey I just wasnt in the right state of mind to race. My best pass was only 14.480 which is pretty crappy considering I ran 14.521 all stock. I just need to "re-learn" how to launch my car because it reacts and feels sooooooooo different at 14psi compared to 10. My 60' times before were 2.0 and that night i was doing 2.2 and bogging all the time. I still smoked alot of v8s tho :D . The only run which I would have ran at least a 14.2 (i had a 2.1 60' bogging) I ended up missing 4th, jerking my car sideways and coasting through with 86mph cause I was scared I fuct something up (i still ran 14.5 tho). But ya next time I go to the track I WILL run 14.1 or better... The car can do it, the driver just needs to get his shit back together haha.
I might go again on friday, try some better launching techniques (which my stock clutch is deffinately not gonna like :P ) and different shift points (according to my dyno sheet).
EDIT : oh ya and im trapping at 96 mph now instead of 90 so I know my car can deffinatley hit low low low 14s or mabey high 13s if I can pull off a 1.XXX 60ft. |

I think I will be there friday then. It all depends on if I work or not. I think I probably send my green and gold bomb through the traps for shits and giggles as well. I will try to crack the sixteen's. LOL
