| Mininova for torrents man. ISOhunt searches all the torrent sites, but for some reason I end up with slower downloads through them. Typically a movie will only take an hour or two. |

I usually just stream the movie online instead of downloading it. There are lots of shitty quality movies..so you need to do a bit of searching to find a decent one.

Learn how to use vcdquality.com and its rating system. It will give the name of any real release, what type it is and what quality it is based on video audio and the movie itself. also people who have downloaded comment but be weary sometimes of that, but just keep in mind what type of movie release you are looking at and decide if a rating is good. a 7 on a dvdscreener may be watchable but on a cam could be barely
There a few main categories to know when dealing with downloaded movies and, they rate them accordingly on vcdquality.com
-A cam is just that someone who brought the movie into the theatre and just recorded it sound and everyhting right there.
Now when you read the ratings of cam movies keep that in mind. a 5 or so out of 10 for a cam isnt that great, on the other hand a 7 or over and youll prollly be ok watching it but it still wont be that great.
-a telesync- someone who again had a camera in the theatre but this time the sound come direct either through a headphone jack or them gettin a copy of the audio disc.
same rules apply as a camera for ratings but the sound is usually higher.
-telecine or R5 Now these kind are taken directly from reels or digital images, and in the case of a r5 it is actually a russian dvd.
These are some of the best(and imho most of the time) the only ones wasting my downloads on unless the dvd is released. picture on these ones are usually ver clear or dvd quality. Sound on the other hand is agian much like a telesync its either direct audio from a line source or in some instances a disc.
-dvdscreener, dvd Now these are self explanitory and you usually are ok watching these no matter what. sometimes a workprint or screener will have black and white scenece a few times or a propertyy of marking but are very watchable.
I hope this helped anyone out at all lol, I just put small descriptions so that people would get the idea that a 5 rating on different releases can mean different things. vcdquality.com is really where you want to go though to check which movies have been released. bare in mind you dont download from there only view which are worth downloading or streaming whatever
