Short Shifter Questions - Click HERE for Original Thread

Glenn 328is
What are some good short shift kits for a 98 Prelude Base model? Are they pretty easy to install and how much are they? Are they also stocked in Edmonton, or possibly Calgary? TIA.

Can you also list the %age reduction in throw.... :D

REDX2NV
i had the solo one, excat same as the dc sports one but like $30-$40 cheaper...good stuff

i think matrix motorsports carries them now..

Glenn 328is
Do you have a link to their co? What about DC? Are they good too? Are they hard to install?

REDX2NV
Sorry i dont have a link, only difference it is the solo is black whereas the dc is blue-Design is identical.. Very easy to install i think 30%-40% shorter shifts..

Glenn 328is
How much shorter does it make the shift lever?

What is the total price for a Solo and what does it come with?? Just a new shift lever, or extra linkages and clips?

REDX2NV
Heightwise it is the same height. On the prelude SS there is a l shaped bracket , clamped one side to the stock shifter and the linkage connecting on the end of the L bracket..

I think its $80 for the solo, im not too sure on this i bought a while ago.. WhAs included is the L shaped claping bracket and miscelanous bolts+screws..
