Hello,
To date I have only one bitch about the Z car. I have to amit everyone I have owned has the same issue as well. My issue is the fact that you can never get a good read, of the oil dipstick.
In my opinion the cars are flawless with everything else, but why did Nissan use such a stupid dipstick? Who knows I may be the only person with this problem.
It is extremely frustrating:mad: if you have any suggestions that would be great. I am not looking for check your oil after the car has been off for an half an hour, I know that one. If you have any solutions that would be great as well. Thanks...

Ahh screw it. Everytime you want to check the oil, don't. Just change it. ;)
I am not sure if the GZA Chrome Dipstick are any better - but hey, it adds to under hood bling! |

Thats good to know, but I do not think "the bling" will be anymore accurate. Anyways I'll wait till J.K. puts it on his car, and then I will ask him if it's any better (JK) :).
I also don't think that changing my oil everytime works either, lets face it my car kills enough dinosaurs as is, and I would also run out of those cool oil filters made specificly for the VG30DETT.
It's official Nissan screwed something up on perfectly designed and well built car. :(

It is easy to check the dipsticks. Just look at the driver. :lol: Ok, low blow I know. :p

But back on topic, good point about the Z. My oil is easy to check, I pull the dipstick or check the coolant! :lol: :D

You seem to forget that your car doesn't run long enough for you to check the oil, so how would you know? Tee hee just joking. Also where do you think the term fossil fuels came from? Is your head gasket leaking again because it sounds like you pull the oil dipstick to check the coolant. Dude that's so not right, unless you own a Supra.
Also just braking your balls nothing serious.
