what ever one was right before messenger live.
it blows ass, i would like to find a way to use msn messenger 7.x
any help is appreciated.
the send an instant message box that i use to use constantly displays every single one of my 350 contacts online or offline being of a complete waste of time. |

i agree.. they made me upgrade otherwise i couldn't continue. :( |

| It made me change, I kept clicking cancel and tried to sign in again and it kept doing it over and over again hahaha. After about the 10th time I was like "you fucking bastards", and just upgraded. :lol: |

I felt the same way and found an answer to the problem.. I'm still running 7.5
Right Click on the actual messenger executable file, choose "Compatibility" tab, Click the checkbox and choose windows 2000 - works like a charm! |

already on top of it
right click the msnmsgr.exe
go to properties
compatibility tab
select box and scoll to 2000
apply
exit msn messenger
open msn messenger again
all solved

a few little glitches come up doing it this way.
you must copy and paste links or msn 7 just disappears. you cant click them in the window.
to check your email, you click the link but then have to go open a internet explorer and it will open both your hotmail and the new browser.
both problems i can more then live with. |
