Put your seatbelt on!

iLLlegal

LOOOOOOOOL

iLLlegal
:fingersx:

how bout I change my question I DONT WANT to fix it.
I just want to know what it is.

MixManMash
I believe that it is an exhaust gas temperature light. Nothing really to worry about. I believe that only JDM models have this light.

It means that your catalytic converter is pooched. Most likely case is that the cat is plugged and when you jump on the old girl she overheates.

The picture that you're looking at is the catalytic converter. I hope that helps.

Grace Too

Yup, it's a Cat overheat warning.

Or you smell and need to shower.:p

iLLlegal
ahhhH lol my car tells me to shower. NICE! maybe its saying it smells itself, sitting in japan for I dunno how long and I cant get rid of the musty old car smell haha :p

if the cat is plugged do you think this would cause like gas smell to come into the cabin? like im getting major fumes dunno where its from.

ya I want some new exhaust this winter might as well gut those cats anyway.

thanks for the help !

MixManMash
Gas Smell - check all fuel lines in the engine bay for leaks. Go around and re-tighten all the clamps on all the fuel lines by the fuel filter, pressure regulator, fuel rails and dampner.

Grace Too
I second the Mixman, most likely leaky fuel lines. It is a common problem with the temp. drop.

Cheers,

Grace Too

Yeah with my jdm fairlady ( IE 2007 z car club best in show winner) I had the same problem. for about 20bucks and an hour of your time change all the fuel lines under the hood. if you come to the meeting tonight i can show you what ones leake the worst
