Action star Jackie Chan's Hollywood blockbuster Rush Hour 2 has been kicked into touch by local hit Shaolin Soccer in the battle for the summer box-office dollar.
Shaolin Soccer was released early last month and stars comedian Stephen Chiau Sing-chi - who also directed the movie. By yesterday it had grossed ๊ million in the SAR - becoming the biggest locally produced box-office hit. |

| Omigod.. Shaolin Soccer was HILARIOUS! I must admit, Rush Hour 2 had more.. "Substance" but I was just laughing so hard at SS that RH2 can't even compare. Overall, though, if you're looking for more than just tears from laughing.. RH2 might be a more fully developed kinda film.. *shrug* Just my opinion =P |

| Is it really that bad? Like is it really stupid humor? I find his old movies were great, but some of the new ones have a real stupid humor, that's more irritating than funny.<p>But I hear this one's supposed to be really good?? no?? |

that movie was sweet...no explosions or massive killing but its a good thinking movie jsut like 6th Sense and Pelican Brief....if it wasn't a bad movie it wouldn't have won so many awards...but it's all down to personal taste..i'd watch ne thing that is good...and IMO Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was a well done movie.. |

| Oh yeah, it was well done. The cinematography, art direction, scenery, music were all awesome. But the plot sucked, no substance, no point. It was poorly delivered and scattered.
