Yes I've already pre-ordered. They told me that means for sure they will have a copy waiting for me on release day. What I'm wondering is if I can get it at midnight on monday. |

I called BB south common. They said they are opening the store at 12:01AM on tuesday and it's staying open till it's normal closing time (9:00PM).
This is awesome. I work monday night, and get off at 12:30. So I'll show up at 1:00AM after all the nerds are gone and be playing all night! Wooo! |

| There was a store on Whyte Ave selling this game yesterday. I know they had like 100 copies, dont know if their sold out yet or not. South Side Futureshop launch should be cool. We are projecting the game on the side of the building, they have one of the radio stations coming down, whole nine yards. |

The story that that store is giving people that ask is that they arent monitored by Microsoft directly so they can get away with it, but what it comes down to is that if anyone calls them in on it they could be facing jail time and fines large enough that the owners would never get out of debt |

| And the thing is that keep in mind, from the store stand point it isnt even profitable really. Even if they dont get caught many games go out literally 2-3 dollars above cost. Many people dont relize that when you buy a new release DVD many times they are actually being sold at under the cost that the store pays for them. The reason to carry the stuff from a big box store stand point is to get people through the doors and hope that they buy other things besides media |

I paid $70 at best buy, plus a free poster, t-shirt and headset.
There was at least 30 people in front of me in the line but i was out of there in 8 minutes, very impressed at the speed they were pumping these things out.:thumbup:

Anyways, yeah I went and picked mine up yesterday. Got a "camo" headset and a t-shirt for free, and on the way out the guy handed me a bag of popcorn :dunno: lol. So I ate popcorn and pwned multiple games. It's an amazing game. I got the Collector's Edition or whatever it's called. The game & DVD for an extra $10 more than just the game. I figured it was worth it. And yeah skarolla it is worth all the hype. That's the most fun game to play EVAAAAAAAAR. :thumbup: |

yeah it's definately up there with Gears of War that's for sure.
Finished the game on normal difficulty, only took about 11 hours total, but it was a BLAST!! Sooo much fun, i have no complaints about Halo 3, makes me forget about how terrible Halo 2 was.... |

omg my friend has the helemt edition halo 3 with a pwnage t-shirt. pretty neat, little nerdy to me but w/e
i just bought the game and how come when i play multiplayer coop, like the campaign, there are two black bars on each side of the tv? like you know when you are watching an HD channel and comercials come up, which are not HD, and the black bars come up on either side of the tv. Thats what happens when i play co-op. when i swtich my tv from 16:9 to widescreen it stretches it way to far and you cant see like the radatr and shit?? any suggestions?? |

you just have to live with it. If it filled up the whole screen it would be waayyy too wide to look any good. that's the only way you can play co-op.
Just buy a bigger tv hahaha |
