| I'd run a carfax before buying them to see if they're writeoffs - it's a big business down in Ontario / Quebec to fix them up, sell them here, get the premium and no one knows they were written off/salvaged |

CARFAX doesn't work so hot on Canadian cars. If the car has a US history then CARFAX is good at exposing the truth.
If you are serious about a car, take it for a pre-purchase inspection to a dealer/shop of YOUR choosing. Whenever possible take it to a shop that specializes in the car in question.
The car's that are on Yellowhead and 66 St., do they belong to "The Auto Resource Group"?. I have talked to Rick on a couple of occasion's and he seems like a decent guy. Regardless of that, get any car INSPECTED before laying out your money. |

Nope works in canada, did one one my car and checked the title thru the registries and came out to be the same. :bigthumbup: |

| Carfaxed mine, came up w/ info from both us and canada (orig. cali car) just like when I ran the vin at the dmv... I suggest both though, and since those eclipses are american... |

Definetely right - no matter what results you get, when you take it to a shop they'll be able to tell if the frames been pulled. Which right there is a big hint. |

a pre perchase inspection is always a good tip.. then you know how much to take off if something is broken :) or if something major like a collision happened to it..
Whats an inspection cost now-days? What if HE had the inspection done to save the buyer time? something for concern?
