what happened?

The car has an "Interesting" setup for rear brakes.. Hydraulic+cable actuated..

the cable is used for the E-Brake, and keeps the line under tension so the brake self adjusts.. So turning it by hand adjusts.. it came so far out the piston popped out of the caliper.. woops. no problem.. "extract" the caliper from the car.. remove the ebrake cables, brake lines, etc.. try pushing a spring loaded piston with a self adjusting screw into a hole that it barely fits in without the screw "self adjusting" against you :) argh! k so i put everything back together, works fine, screw is totally backed in there and looks great.. brake pins are siezed in there! so there goes another long ass while trying to get these suckers out.. get'em out, clean'em , lube'em push'em back in.. excellent.. brake fits up, screwed in yay.. now the ebrake is horrible.. spring loaded huge cable that cant be streched.. fun stuff..

Now for the other side... same thing happens with the piston.. sigh... and now for the fun part.. the damn bleeder screw BROKE OFF inside the caliper.. man that was the crowning moment of my anger.. ARGH! I dont have any money to buy another bleeder, and I dont have any easy outs.. fawk!

Anyhow, the cars going to fountain tire on monday to get the brake lines replaced.. my dad noticed a little bit of "wear" one of them and doesnt want me driving with an abraded brake line.. eheh Ill also get'em to take out the broken bleeder, and crap like that..

the Front brakes were sooo much easier.. I wonder if they'll fit on the rear of my car aswell... hrm!

Wow i feel better.. kinda :)
