These people have to realize that the majority of car consumers wouldn't be willing to restrict themselves to 25mph. I don't understand why they couldn't add in some gearing options to help utilize the torque of the electric motor over a broader range of speed.
Yes, I know most electric cars don't run transmissions, but it's a realistic way to get more speed out of something like this. I bet most people wouldn't be happy with 50mph, nevermind 25. |

I don't see any place where 25mph would be useful. I can attain higher speeds on a bicycle.
The guy is touting the quality of the brakes and how well they work. If you are going 25mph they will work well. No shit sherlock. |

that car is way too slow to be of any use for daily road use, and is way too expensive for a grocery getter neighborhood car.

And he says it's limited to 25mph, right after he says it can be used safely on a road with a 35mph speed limit. Is he fucked??? You do 25 in a 35 if you want to get shot!
