Ummm you know those have a squishy sidewall right? How much drag racing do you actually do?

Bitskyline
Enough ;)

i got them cuz they have good reviews and i got a good deal on them, i know they are not the best if your not at the track alot but they will work good for what i do.

For my car it was a toss up between the ET streets and the Nitto 555r's. I ended up going with the 555r's because of a longer street life...

those look narrow for a 275

X3 i have 275's on my soarer. Looks a 'little' different from the rear.

I'm not trying to be a prick but i wouldn't expect those to even last one summer on our roads, is the car daily driven?

I went through a set of BF goodrich Gforce Sports in about 1.5 summers and that tire has a 340 treadwear rating. How often are you out at castrol?

Bitskyline
i want to go more but the tires i had sucked. if there is street legal tonight i should be there.

it is dd and i know they arn't going to last more then a summer let alone the whole. i just wanted to try them cuz ive never had drag radials and i want to see the difference. if they were a bad idea then i will learn from my mistake.

once these are done i am going to get some new wheels and try to fit 305 in the rear:thumbup:

Do you have the fenders rolled?

With a +50 offset rim and a bit of negative camber as well as rolled guards i think you MIGHT be able to pull it off but i will say that that's pushing the max in the stock wells.

i have a +42 offset rim and 275's and i will just nick the inside edge of the fender over a big bump. That's also with just a tad of negative camber.

Normally most guys would buy the MT's and throw them on a drag only set of rims then a more street friendly tire on the normal rims. Then just pop the rears on for street legals.

BTW what are you running? I was out last friday. I could really use drag radials as i'm having troubles getting any lower than a 2.000 60 footer. Those would definately help.

Bitskyline
i ran a 14.1 on my old tires, haven't gone out on these ones yet.

oo and i got the evc in.. wonder how much of a difference that will make.

Fuck, I wish I had those tires. Next year I'm going to put 295/35R18 BFG DR. I think I could run a 12 if I had better tires. Also my car isn't a daily driver, just a weekend warrior ;)
