Second owner, I bought this car with 80,000km on it and have loved it ever since. It has been taken care of and I have all reciepts. Besides the VTEC what I like most about this car over lesser integras is the close-ratio, short throw transmission. This car is all stock, and while you may be looking to get more "bang for your buck" by buying a car that is already modified, remember that this one has no sketchy aftermarket parts, and has never suffered from bad tuning. Also, it's a fresh canvas for you to start your project.
It has lots of tread left on the 195/55VR15 Dunlop Sport FM901 on trick 15" rims that look a lot bigger than 15". For winter I have narrower 175/65R14 Goodyear Ultragrip Ice tires with lots of tread left on steel rims. I went with narrower tires for cutting through snow. This car is a billy goat in the winter - it's awesome on icy roads and I have NEVER been stuck in snow.
At 153000Km Westside Acura installed new piston rings, valve seals, did the head, and honed the cylendar walls. Now at 216000Km it doesn't burn a drop of oil, unlike most high Km hondas out there.
At 206000Km the input shaft bearing was replaced. I had the rest of the transmission inspected and opted to do both differential bearings as preventative maintenance. I was told the input shaft bearing and the diff bearings normally fail on hondas with b-series motor/transmissions at around 150000Km. You don't have to worry about that with this one.
Oil changed regularily with mobil synthetic and fram ultragaurd synthetic oil filters. This car has been cared for.
I'm selling this car to raise money for a downpayment on a house. It's gonna hurt to see it go. Call Rick at 619-7425. Car will appear in the AutoTrader on Sept27/07
