Here is some information I found on the wheels for my car... I have 84 AE wheels which are the same as 86's, which means they are 16x7 w/ a20mm offset, while the stock ones were 15 w/ 30mm offset.... So what offset do I need to go with for aftermarket rims??? I'm still kind of lost on this idea of offset and am finding it hard to look for rims w/ out knowing what i really need.
4 Lug bolt pattern: 4x4.5(4x114.3)
5 Lug bolt pattern: 5x4.5(5x114.3)
Studs are m12x1.25
Centerbore is 66.1mm
Stock wheel offset:
84-85 all(except AE): 30mm
86 non-turbo: 10mm
86 turbo: 20mm
87-89 Turbo: 30mm
87-89 non-turbo: 20mm
The stock tire size is 215-60-15 on 15x6.5 wheels, and 225-50-16 on the 16x7 wheels. |

| Go with the offset of the wheels that you have on right now, if it looks good, an lined up with the fender, then fire it up. |

| Chris I found with my 84T the 30 offset didn't push the wheel out enough to line up with the fenders so I went with the team dynamic monza's 17x7 with an 18 offset and it works awesome. No rubbing what so ever. You could also go with the tsw vx1's or and wheel with an offset from 18 to 30. You can find more info at z31.com Good luck... |
