Workout When your sick?, Stay in Bed? - Click HERE for Original Thread

BlueTurboEGG
So I've been super-clogged in the head ever since going back to work, it really hit me on Wednesday but I'm still continuing my workout routines.
I usually feel less congested and abit better after working out but is this detrimental to my health?

Marximus
I've been feeling pretty crappy too, and I actually read that if you work out it could potentially slow down your healing. But could have been a bad source.

3:12am ?!, geez Mark, talk about slowing down your healing, shouldn't you be resting?!...

GEEZ, stay in bed and rest. Your workouts will not be affective (you have no energy) and the damage you do to your body will only slow down your healing process.
That's my experience anyway.

Marximus
Late night with some friends.
But yeah I agree man, rest.
Although I still going hadcore on exercise. My legs hurt tho. I'm also on drugs for the cold (Sudafed)

Scintillater
yeah..i tried to work out too...got more sick. everyone in med and sports med keeps telling me to rest when you're sick or else it'll take FOREVER to get well.
