Recumbant Stationary bike? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Marximus
Walmart has a sale on a recumbant stationary bike. I believe the price is &#36190.
I'm sure this bike will be more "crotch-friendly" than the upright I have. I've test drove it for about 3 minutes and seems sturdy enough. My question is, are there any downsides of using such an apparatus for weightloss? Is an upright better?

Marximus
We'll I bought the bike and spent an hour on it today. Much better than my upright bike.
This also has a computer also. Burnt off 450 calories in an hour of biking.

I think the main problem with recumbant bikes are that they don't imitate a 'real' bike workout. But if you're not much of a biker I guess it doesnt matter.
