Thats insane! Man its sick in so many ways. That should get the point across!

Pro Drag
Leave it to the media to have no sack. Those commercial's are EXACTLY what should be on the air.

BlueTurboEGG
Little mixed on that, probably because I feel so strongly on the subject.

But there definitely is no fluffing of the subject here.

BlueBlur
Whuf!.. blink  blink
Definitely not subtle!!

I agree with crushedpearlywhitetsi...errr.. pro drag...
It SHOULD be on the air.
everyone and I mean everyone will have a stance there will be NO fence sitting with this one, if it is ever shown on the air.

Loose
I'm not sure if that should be on the air, only because I think it is unappropriate for young children.

Get the message across at an early age I say.

RezaREX
The restaurant one disturbed me lots but the boardroom one wasn't nearly as effective for me. Maybe because I knew what was coming or there weren't children present but overall very effective ads.

A little over-exaggerated to me....

I don't think it's over-exaggerated at all. I've never dealt with violence in my house(beyond my sisters beating the crap outta me since I wasn't allowed to fight back), but I've been in other families homes where this has happened.

It's not a pretty picture that they paint, but it's a realistic one. If they took out the cussing I'm pretty sure they could show this on tv. There is much worse violence on the evening news, wrestling, even Saturday morning cartoons. I say kudos to HomeFront to hang it all out there. This will piss alot of people off if they end up on the air, but you just have to ask yourself, "Why are these people so pissed off about it?"

They get the point across but too extreme for children. I had no idea what they were about the first time i saw them so i thought they were pretty damn funny. but where are the examples of the females whooping the men or the emotional abuse men have to put up with? hahah

SplineZ
I dont think they'll aire it.. too many swears.. if they were to blip them out, then I could see it being played during the 7 oclock news :)

James Z

import_3000
that is very wrong, i think the parents should just teach the kids not to use violence

it's over-exaggerated to me because the guys who get pissed of...get pissed off a little TOO quickly

I've never been around other families who fight & shit in front of me...but I would assume that there would be a tonne of yelling & screaming before someone grabs hot water & scalds the other

SplineZ
I dunno i seen people explode ... litterally..

I think they have to have the person get angry quickly not only for time's sake, but also to show just how irrational and fucked up those people are  .

Having had a guy twice the size of me grab me by the neck and hold me up against a wall before with his hand drawn back this isn't over exaggerated at all. AT ALL. You'd say the same thing if you've seen the rage in a person's eyes that I've seen. No he didn't get pissed THAT quickly, but it only took 30 seconds or so. In another instance, nothing like being woken up by a solid fist to the face and having to make up a story of what the goose-egg is from. It happens once it WILL happen again.

To anyone that has ever abused someone I say FU CK YOU. The only thing you deserve is to live a life of shit and die alone.

Those are harsh, but i too found it funny in the beginning of the coffee when he called her a bitch after that it was savage.

very, very true

Mekanik22
At first, the board meeting one, I thought it was kinda a joke, you know, haha funny link type thing. But I stopped smiling after he was abusing her because I knew it was getting serious. But anyways, it sure turns up old experiences for me because when I was in elementary school, my dad abused me. He was eventually charged, but anyways, this isn't a laughing matter. I couldn't begin to IMAGINE what it was like for that women to get hot coffee dumped all over her chest. What a fuckin asshole. That's just sickening.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up. I was gonna rant about it seeing as though my dad has been the victim of domestic assault (by his wife) for the last 7 years. She has been charged twice before, and he finally caught her on video the last time and she was charged. B)

I thought I might mention something about this, but most often this is the situation that takes place.

I think that they need to do one of these but with older sisters beating up a younger brother, then the dad saying he's not allowed to hit girls, yet leaving the girls alone. I think that if I hadn't had such a strong upbringing(besides this point) that I could have turned out a much more violent person. Luckily I didn't take to torturing animals and beating up smaller kids to take out my frustrations. I just think that it's wrong that parents allow their daughters to wail on their sons all they want, yet the sons can't do anything. My one sister used to be a psycho(Schlong69 can vouch for that), and I have scars to prove it. It's tough when 3 sisters, all bigger than yourself, gang up on you(yes I used to be a tiny kid, even smaller than Steve!).

Anyhow, that's the one double standard in domestic violence that I think should be addressed.

Amen Chromey..

what stopped you from wailing back on your sister(s)?

When your young and brother/sister, the "man cant hit a woman" thing shouldnt apply.... well atleast until a certain age :)

I meant to say she was charged and convicted. As well she can't enter the state of Nevada without being placed in jail and she can't see her son (my little bro) until mid NEXT year. Then again he stuck a lot of $$$ into that fight (over $20k USD). Sometimes it seams you have to be rich to go places in today's law system; especially regarding domestic assault.
