My shots from the Time Attack Sept. 29 - Click HERE for Original Thread

CanuckDave
Well I'd post them in the other thread, but that already took long enough to load as it is, so I decided to make my own..

Here's a small sampling of the shots I took. Sorry it took so long to post them, my computer died on the weekend and it took me until now to get parts and build up another one, finally got some of the better shots sorted out.

I've got hundreds of pics, and I'm reasonably sure I got pics of every car out there on the track, so PM me if you want some shots and I can upload them for you, if I have time I'll just make a big gallery somewhere with all the shots.

Anyway, here are various shots from throughout the day:

I think he ran a 1:11 or some thing but blew up. I am pretty sure his head gasket is gone. :(

Couldn't have been that fast or else he would have placed in street tire, or was he in race class? Sucks that he blew his gasket though, super pressurized coolant system ftl.

NYGACR
I believe his times were in the 1:13 or 1:14 range. I think it was just the same hose that kept popping off, rather than a blown headgasket.

he blow both hoses. and he is blowing them because he head gasket is gone and the cooling system is pressurized.

thats my opinion tho

NYGACR
Agreed.

Hey, those are amazing shots. I remember you were sitting at the exit of corner 8 for a little while. Did you happen to have a few shots from there? Maybe one of the civic?

I am quite familiar with it. Good to see it's working out for you. Sadly you'll curse the thing as the sun drops. I'm wanting an F/2.8 IS model now.:(

Alright, no need to send PM's now, I'm just doing a mass upload of all the pics right now. When they're finished uploading you can find all my pics from the even here:

yep! i dont really think it slowed anything down tho....you will have to get a response from some of the guys running higher HP cars

TrentO
The cones on the back straight slowed us a bit. we had to touch the brakes and then steady state the throttle for the first half. I'd expect a second or so a lap at least.

Thanks a lot for the pictures, they are great, it's nice to have some decent pictures of me on the track.

NYGACR
I enjoyed the cones on the back. You could take them at pretty good speed and the way the curbing was set up it was kind of fun. Although it slowed things down a little I don't think it took anything away from the event.
