| Wonder what a 1991-1992 toyota hilux truck would be worth at a 3.5 - 4.0 auction grade and if you can get them. |

Could you provide a few more details:
-Destination city
-Mileage range
-Manual/Auto
-Which engine you're looking for. |

| I need the truck in Calgary. Looking for only a manual and around 50,000 - 100,000km range. I am also looking for the V6 Xtracab SR5 4x4 model. Now I am not sure if that particular model is available in Japan so if that's the case then the 22R-E engine with whatever is considered the fully loaded 4x4 model is fine. Thanks. |

I don't believe the 22R-E was available in the Japanese Hilux trucks. I think they only offered them with the 3Y (2.0l 4 cylinder) and the 3L (2.8l 4 cylinder).
For pricing, you could expect to pay between $11,700-14,000 for the condition you specified (includes GST and uses Calgary as the destination). This also assumes that the truck could be shipped in a container containing 4 vehicles, there is a chance that the truck may be too large and may have to take up two vehicle spaces. If it could only be sent as a container of 3, it would cost the truck, in addition, approximately $1300-1600. |

| I am a little surprised at the cost considering an equivalent condition skyline gt-r is around $15,000. Are they rare or were they expensive to begin with in Japan? |

| Well this is the pick-up truck right? They are in demand in many different markets in the world, not just Canada. Even the terrible condition or high mileage examples are relatively expensive. Compare these prices to the Hilux Surf's, they are typically $6000-7000. It's just a rare instance where a vehicle is in high demand in many markets other than our own. |

| Yes your right. I never thought that as a possibility but now that you say that it makes sense. Trucks are always needed somewhere. Guess ill have to settle for a cheap and reliable civic or something. Thanks. |
