Whoever wants Matt banned is just f*ckin retarded. EVERYONE has outbursts of emotion. To say you have never bursted out on something you found repulsive would be the biggest lie I have ever heard.
Granted he may have gone a little on the deepend with some of the comments, but there is no way he should be banned for them. I do think on the other hand that post should be deleted and should've just after it started. Give the admins credit though, they did edit some of the posts.
Look how many GOOD posts this guy has, yet you want him banned for a few bad posts?!?!?! wtf?

Look at sites for things like the KKK in the US that talk about anti-black stuff and how they should not be allowed to live.. yet no one ever seems to do anything about that. A lot of us are very aware that comments made here affect people. I know personally that sarcasm is never translated well over the internet. But as far as banning Matt I have not really seen anything that warrents this.. It is possiable that I didn't see any of the posts but I read a LOT of the stuff on here.. I think Matt is a cool guy and I can think of a couple people I would ban before I would ban him personally. |

Matt getting banned or banning himself is not what I wanna see. What I wanna see is people respecting each other more. I wanna see the end of these stupid flamewars and E-threats.
Think before you write. that's all. People come to this forum to read and write about stuff that interests them, for the sense of community, being part of a group of people with the same interests. They don't want to read posts full of bullshit and petty wars between 2 or 3 people that often never even met in person.
as I said before, it takes 2 to start these stupid threads. One first moron who doesn't agree with someone else and, instead of articulating his opinion, just goes off and start calling names. Then it requires a second moron to actually take the bait and fire back some name-calling instead of just ignoring the post.
And while it might be argued that with 1300 members, it's bound to happen, there are others forums out there with a whole lot more members where you basically never see this happening.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.
