FS 93 Dodge Colt $900 obo - Click HERE for Original Thread

moronicicon
I have a 93 Dodge colt for sale, approx 228000 kms on it. Its a 4 door sedan. 1.5L Mitsu engine with a 5spd manual transmission. Its a great comuter vehicle (gets 600km to a tank of gas). The body is in good shape, some previous body work (not great job) was done to the Pass rear tail light area, and some scratches on the front and rear bumper skins (like that when I got the car). Mechanically good (new front brakes, wheel bearing). Tires good. The only thing wrong is the exhaust manifold is cracked ($20-$25 at Pick and Pull). Like to sell this car as I bought a newer car and can't afford to put both on the road. I have driven this car for the past six or so months back and forth between here and Calgary with no issues other than the noisy manifold. Make and excellent winter car/ runabout. Will supply safety inspection with car.

Bump for a sick deal. My dad bought one of these new, in 91 or 92 when this generation was released. He gave it to a friend a couple of years ago, and it is way past 400,000kms, with no major repairs ever required.

Yep, I have owned three of these cars in the past and had a blast driving them, I turbo charged my last one using a hyunda powertrain. The most common problems with these cars is distributor failure and bad grond circuits in the ECM. That is why I have spares that come with the car.

do you have a haynes manual with the car
and possibly pictures

moronicicon
no actually I don't, I don't use them cause I have access to it all online. Plus I have worked on these cars for years......sorry.

TCoombs420
thats all good
do you have any pics of the car or exhaust manifold

moronicicon
I am trying to get pics of the car but I don't have a digital cam, as for the exhaust manifold, its cracked all the way around, the cat was plugging and building up back pressure and that caused the crack. I punched out the cat and have just been driving it, haven't fixed it due to time. family at home etc. I can fix it in about 15 minutes its just gettin out to the west end to get the part.
