| Anyone see this Lancer EVO driving around town? Its a sliver color or grey, lol im colorblind, but what really got me is that it had Alberta licence plate? Anyone else see it, or can tell me how this is possible? IT was not a conversion at all, straight up EVO for sure!! |

I am not sure what you saw, if it was a real EVO, it could even have been a US car visiting.
There are several 2004+ Lancers running around dressed as EVOs. They put the wing on, simmilar hood vents, front spoiler, etc. But the sure way to spot a real EVO is to either look for the huge mother of an intercooler low on the front bumper or better yet check the fenders, the Evo has wider fenders like the early M3s..... or just watch them accelerate.. the plain Lancers can't do it quite the same way :D |

| first thing i saw was the intercooler and hid projectors. had the evo look, body kit, etc. im 99% sure it was real. could have been someone visiting i guess. and ya, now that you mention it it did look a bit wider then a stock lancer. |

Wow, Im not an idiot there. The first thing I noticed was of course the FMIC and the aggressive front end and the wider body and aggressive stance. You would have to be clueless to not figure out the difference b/w an EVO and a basic Lancer. And if you would have just read the post Einstein I mentioned it had an AB licensce plate. I only wrote a line or two on this forum because a friend who is a member here sent me the link to this topic asking me if I was in Edmonton on the weekend.
I don't have the time to read all the postings in detail so I thought I write a word or two to describe the basic differences for those who might not be familiar. if that bothers you so much; then don't read them.
If stuff like that gets you so upset you need to get laid or something man! the war is over and they don't make any more parts for your head.
Anyway, this is the reason why I don't usualy waste time on forums like this... |

I'm pretty sure he knows that evos were never released in Canada however there are a few (~15) so one of the ways to find one if it's ever for sale is to look at ads. I personally have seen three Evo 8s for sale in Canada on CanadaTrader within the last 2 or 3 years. It's possible to find one, just have to get lucky sometimes. |
