Thought this move could be really good or really bad.

It starts off quite nice with Eva Mendes starting to do her thing alone on a couch.

Some scenes were slow and others were great and action packed. Good plot with a few interesting twists.

I was a bit disappointed with one of the ending scenes. I was hopping one of the bad dudes was going to get their head blown off with a shot gun by the cop.

I loved to hate Joaquin Phoenix (the whiny snotty emperor son) in the Gladiator. I think he played a great character in this movie.

Overall I felt the movie flowed smoothly and was a good production. :D

I recommend!

I give it 8 shot up drug dealers out of 10

A Guy I bought parts from out of the us sold parts to a production official in charge of vehicles for the movie.! Can you guess which car he bought parts for.

Yeah Rave reviews from the Cannes film festival. I have been following it for a while, just waiting to get my busy ass out to see it.

overall it was a not bad movie. plot was nice but it seems the director is a very visual one. because some of the lines in the movie I didnt believe at all. especially when phoenix gets angry at his girlfriend about talking about his dad and stuff. people laughed in the theatre. it wasn't beleivable. same with when he was beating up on his friend and then squeezes his eye balls. hahahaha oh man.

but the action parts were amazing. my favorite part had to be the car chase. it was insane. just the way it was done and the silence yet no loud explosions and shit like that. it was really scary and had my heart beating.

so ya good movie. but I liked the kingdom better :blue:

It was overly predictable in several parts. It was a good movie overall, but it was no The Departed. Id give it a 2.5/4. And the majority of that is Joaquin Phoenix being a bad motherfucker. Great stuff on his part.
