Hi, guys,
Got into the Mister Two world a few weeks ago - '93 N/A, turquoise w/black int. May be looking to hook up with a few of you next spring/summer to compare rides and maybe do a ride or two.
Putting the Mister up for the winter - what are you planning to do?
Me:
- fill tank with gas
- change oil
- remove battery and charge once a month in garage w/trickle chrg.
- vacuum it out, wash it good, throw some mothballs inside
- jack tire PSI close to tire limit
Any other suggestions? Checked a few forums out - would like to hear from local experts... |

I drive all year 'round. I'd like to know what everyone else does as well.
Did you pick up a hardtop SW20? |

Nope - my SW20's a T-bar - seals are great, though. Feels like I'm in a fighter cockpit. From what I hear, a hard-top would be a rare find...
It's amazing - even the 15-year old factory stereo sounds great.
I'd drive it if I was in the city, but I'm up in Barrhead and do a lot of winter highway driving for my job - my minivan will be taking up the battle over the winter.
When you drive in winter, do you weigh down the front trunk with anything? What kinds of tires do you use? |

I'd throw a little fuel stabilizer in the tank too. You might not need it, but I'd rather be safe. The winters ARE a little long...

I'm driving all winter too (this winter anyway, we'll see about next year). It'll be the first too, as I just got my AW11 in the spring.
I wasn't planning to put any weight in the frunk, but we'll see how it goes - that might change. As for tires, I've got a set of Blizzak WS-50s that I'm gonna put on the triangles. If they're good enough for the ice racers, they're good enough for me... I've good thing about the Nokians and the Michelin X-Ice too. |

I dont do any of that prep stuff.
Just throw her in the garage haha. The only problem ever is a dead battery, but easily solved with a boost.
Good idea changing your oil though, just dont DRAIN your oil.
You need to keep your oil in there to keep your seals from getting dry. |
