and if so. if there is someone that is a certified installer i will give them 100$ to put it in my truck for me:thumbup:

lol 05 rams arn't that easy

don't know many installers that would do it for $100, well dont' know any

but it's a bad idea to swap the unit to a new vehicle cus u will need/should get new harnesses for it,

just not a good idea

Wouldn't you need a new bi pass mod as well as I'm sure the Ram has some kind of anit theft on it. You might also need a different mod if you have a chipped key. I was thinking the same as i ripped most of my old 2 way out of my last car, the harness is the cheapest part of the whole deal.

When I was selling them most places would charge around $400
$30 to rip out the old one
$200 install
$80 bypass installed
+ say $80 for starter kill, power lock hook up, rear defrost...

This might have gone up or down theres a couple new bypasses out now. If your selling the car bump the price a couple hundred and get a new starter/alarm for your truck.

Stan
lol i went to visions to get a new one and they said 440 somethin and they would have a brand new one in my truck....... so ya i think im just goin to do that. and leave the alarm on my other car that im selling
