Pipe Expander - Click HERE for Original Thread

GsiTurbo
I guess this goes to the "exhaust experts". Can I use pipe expander to make a flange (increase ID) in order to insert the next part of the exhaust?

Like this one, or larger:

Can it also be used to make a 3"ID diameter into 2" ID diameter converter pipe? The material for above will be mild-steel mandrel bent.

Now, beer for everyone, please! :D

Im pretty sure the pipe expander can enlarge the pipe enough to make the original size fit inside... I mean it only has to enlarge it by like an 1/8 or so of an inch..

as for shrinking the pipe? nope, i dont see it happening. It'd probly be easier to butterfly it, and welt it tight.
