| I have installed headers and high flow cat to my 2001 lude. This has caused my check engine light to come on. I have scanned the car and the 2nd o2 sensor is causing this problem. i have tried replacing this sensor with no luck in fixing the problem... any suggestion... |

| looks like the cat isn't performing as well as the ECU wants it to.. |

I second that notion. Your computer wants to see a certain difference between the readings of the front and rear O2 sensors. What "brand" is the HFC? (High Flow Cat).
There are ways around this, 2G DSM's have been doing it for years. You just need to put a resistor of a certain value in the circuit path between the rear O2 and the ECU. |

that's your OBD2 working there.
As long as you don't go into limp mode it's cool.
If you want to fix it there are several ways
-resistor as Prodrag has said
-ECU swap
-Tin Foil if you can believe it :)
Good luck. |

| There's always the O2 simulator modules that plug right in if you don't feel ghetto. But the resistor method works just as well. |

| I have the same problem on my car. An O2 sensor should solve the problem, although it didn't for my car... |

| At the moment, an O2 Sensor simulator is the only way to run a QR25 (SE-R/Spec V) with a header without the CEL on. Maybe ludes are the same? |
