I'm new here so if there's an existing thread let me know. I've got a gen 1 rx7 (1983) in great shape except for the pool of oil and coolant that springs from my front rotor seal - I figure it's easier to find a rebuilt engine and replace rather than rebuild - am I correct - if so where do I find an engine locally, I see web sites from the US or importers from Japan but would prefer to buy one here if I can. Any help is appreciated.

Pm 4kruzn or edmrx7, they rebuild motors...

Let them know what you want to accomplish and what your budget is, and they'll build a great motor for your needs... :)

(psssssssst - try a Turbo TII motor in your first gen.... mmmmmmmmmm... turbo fb :D)

if all your motor is doing is leaking it would be much less money to
remove it and have it rebuilt, or fixed.
if the internals are good, all it might need
are new seals, then your good to go for a long time.
I am sure conroy can give you some good prices.
