just got a email from union about some bash sunday night lol they say its a long weekend but i don't think it is.
so is it a long weekend? even if remembrance day lands on Sunday? |

Yes, it is.
If the holiday falls on a weekend, then you generally get the first working day off after it. I dont know the exact rules, but the majority of people will not be working on the 12th. |

I don't know what university you go to but we only got a 4 day long weekend at the u of a. |

| It depends if your company offers the stat in lieu at another time. For instance, I don't get Monday off, but I get an extra day at christmas... |

Yeah remembrance day for Monday, and 2 separate professional days for Tuesday and Wednesday (At GMAC)
