now that i got your attention...
look what came in the mail today, my fully adjustable ksport coilovers! cant wait to get these on the car, they will be a huge difference compared to my lowering springs.
My Christmas gift to myself. Cant wait till autoX next season.

| Make sure you update in a couple months and let us know how they are. I have heard very mixed results from Ksport, albeit from different vehicles. |

i just have to order my damper adjustment knob, i never got one in the box. im not waiting for summer, these are going on ASAP. i want to find some kind of 'spring condom' that i can slide over the springs to keep dirt and shit out of there.
Anyone know of something like that thats made of a durable fabric? |

for the guys wondering:
i installed them and everything perfectly fine. ride quality is just fine for coilovers. bumpy but not like a go cart. handling is awesome!!! i could go around a corner at easily 80km/h. i set my camber negative a bit so the steering is more touchy.
ride is much stiffer then the lowering springs. the car is much more responsive, and with how low my car is, im surprised how little the shocks move. ill snap a pic just to show how low i can go without rubbing on hard corners.
the only problem with these is the springs seems to twist a bit on the spring perch. some guys told me that if i call Ksport they will send out some package for free to fix that.
most likley its just a rubber bushing or something so its not metal on metal. it might just be that i have to tighten the springs a bit more, but i dont think thats going to help. |
