Religion is a great money making organization. You can take any interpretation from any book, bible, etc and form beliefs surrounding it. You can drive fear of the unknown deep into the souls of people (Ie, Hell, or what ever) if they do not follow it. One can take any verse, scripture and twist and manipulate it to fit your line of beliefs.
You have people blindly giving their money to said organization for the cause.

Your religion was not the original topic of the video. The op had a link to a clip where two mormons on bikes attempted to convince a very educated black man that their religion was superior (which is so very wrong in itself), and the first few posters were just discussing the hilarity of the video. For some reason you deciding to jump into this topic, CAPS ablazing, and conciously derail the entire thread. Sure you can sure you were just defnding your religion, but you stepped way over that line and personally attacked members of this foum (some of whom did deserve it i guess), but you also added completly useless remarks which derailed the thread entirely.

Mormonism has good and bad. I think it was south park that said it best in the mormon episode, something about a belief system that makes you live a better happier life isn't necessarily a bad thing. |

That's garbage there. We've had numerous religious discussions on this board in the past, all mentioning the names of the deities on topic. They've never been shut down before, and no one has ever had a post deleted because it contained religious jargon. Not that I've seen in the years that I've been here. And, being a Christian myself, I tend to find my way into these conversations.
You are just a fuck-up, and have spread your disease all over this board for no reason other than to cause a disturbance.

Well believe what u will it doesn't really change anything. I did have 2 of my post deleted in this thread and you can ask the other members because they were laughing about it. I was not making a mockery of this thread i am a mormon and religion is very dear to me. So a member asked me about joseph smith and the plates i reponded, and than i made another post about the savior on the cross , and both of them were deleted.
If you can find i was mad and i posted a thread about the mods doing this, obv, the thread was locked and prob deleted. anyways it doesn't really matter any more. |

the posts were deleted because you still had your caps lock on after being asked repeatadly in different threads to turn it off.

It's likely because a mod asked you to stop posting all in caps and you continued to do so. Joker wouldn't ever delete the post because of what you said, but you were asked several times in several threads to turn off the caps lock. |

Agreed,
Oldraven and I have debated our opposing opinions many of times. There are many members on here who have done the same. We would not delete a post based on religion. If that was the case we would zap any thread where religion was discussed. Do a quick search Sunny and you will find said posts.
