| Its time to do some work to my 2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0s. I know, I know i shoulda bought an SE-R, but i didnt wanna wait for it. So far i have added a front strut brace, which i am very happy with, 10 mins and a whole world of difference. I ordered a Stillen cat-back exhaust system, and now i need to get it installed. Any good places on, or around the north side??? I emailed Injen and they said that a Cold air intake will be available end of the month. So when one comes out, ill pick it up. Any good places that would install that too? Id like to do it myself, but i dont have the tools to do it. My car is sitting a lill high, so i will put on eibach pro kit springs. Lower it about 1.3". Is there any issues with that?? i heard that it could through off your alignment> Is it realy that simple?? add the springs and your car is good to go?? thanx for your responses! |

You dont have the tools to install an intake and exhaust?
Go buy a socket set from crappy tire for 40bucks and install it yourself.
Dropping your car will affect your camber, not your alignment. And for 1.3inches I wouldnt even worry about it. |

| Well, i dont have the experience either. the only thing ive ever installed myself is the strut brace. id rather get a pro job on it than me fumbling with it. |

| In all honesty its not that hard. 95% of the work you could do on your car involves bolts and nuts or in most cases tapped holes holding 2 parts together. You bought a custom pre-build exhaust system. It should fit your car with little to no modification what so ever. Its just a matter of getting it up in the air so you can work on it. Save your money and do it your self. I would offer some space in the shop for you to do it but we are full up at the moment. Trust me, you can do it. |

| would jack stands in the back be good enough??? |

| I don't see why not. Essentially all a pre-fabbed cat-back needs is the flange coming off of the cat undone, some rubber hangers removed, and then reversing the process. Just get under your car and give it a go. You'll start to realize just how ridiculous it is to go to a shop to have everything done, and you'll learn a bunch in the process. |

shit, ill come give you a hand some day im free if you get this stuff. CAI is easy, springs are easy, exhaust is easy. with all the plastic shit in your engine though it might be a pain.
anyways, after you install springs, since you removed the struts, your toe could be out also your camber will be a bit different, but not noticeable. i would still get an allignment since your removing the strut bolts and such. |
