Hi, guys,
I wanted to share this site for a company out of Quebec called Royal Japanese Motors. They specialize in importing JDM engines of all kinds, and they have several 3S-GTE engines available.
The price is listed $1650 USD, and they quoted me $185 (CDN, I think - they didn't specify) for shipping to my Northern Alberta address, so Edmonton and area would be about the same. The quote specified that they've got 8 of these engines, all in the area of 20-35k miles. Doesn't say if they have just been pulled from cars or been rebuilt/reconditioned.
Included with the engine are:
- Complete Engine
- Transmission
- Intake And Exhaust Manifolds
- Distributer
- Ecu computer
- Alternator
- Complete Wiring Harness
- A/C Power Steering Pump
- Starter
Check it out and give input here on what you think... With strong Canadian dollar, this seems like a pretty good deal to my rookie eyes!

| Just buy from JDMsource. They sell them for $1400 USD, and you don't end up covering that companies cost to ship from Vancouver to Quebec and then back again. |

| Good thought - hadn't considered the engine would come from the Pacific, not the Atlantic.. |

Yeah... 1400usd.. BUT they wont honour that price reflected in canadian dollars. I asked about a motor that was 2700usd and they told me it was 3400 cdn because they dont honour exchange rate and have set prices for cdn and us, so i said, well if i convert my money and bring you us doillars u will honour the usd price and not reflect the new exchnage rate, and i never got an answer back. |

Do some research though. The general impression I get from the boards is that they're pretty fly-by-night. Seems like they've screwed a lot of people. I could be wrong though. That's why I say to do research. |

| I've never heard much bad feedback about them. Although if you're worried go down with a pickup and get the engine yourself. That way you can see what you're buying before you make the transaction. |

| Maybe it's just that they're a big volume company. Even the best companies make mistakes occasionally. Funny how we never hear about all the thing done right... |

| I know I'm harping about keeping it stock, but to have 200hp under that hood would be real nice, especially at that price... :) Course, I still have to get someone to install it... |
