I am thinking of either getting a evo3 16g or a big T-28 for my car. Which would be a better choice? Is the T-28 a direct bolt on? which would be able to give me more power? Anything else I should know before getting one of these?
Thanks guys |

| Well i do know one buddy running an evo3 on his 2G and it runs good mid range but it tops out kinda quick. Im running a fp28 (uses a T25 shell) and it is great upper midrange-highrange but has a bit of lag. Im running ~12psi and have run as high as 18psi and neither are close to what the turbo wants to put out. You must get a mbc for this turbo to have it perform half ass, I currently have the turbo hooked up right to the actuator and it hinders performance quite a bit; the wastegate opens too early (over winter its kinda good, its saved my ass from sliding out a couple times). It depends on what you want drivability or boost till something brakes, i would check out the Forced Performance Green turbo, ive heard nothing but good things about it but go check it out for yourself. |

| I wouldn't get either unless your stock turbo crapped out and you want something close to it. The Evo3 will not be a bolt on without a 1G->2G kit. Are you looking for a 250whp daily driver turbo? If yes then pick whichever ends up being cheaper. |

| I was hopinh to eventually have around 300 hp, will either of these do it and last? or should I be looking at a different turbo? |

Getting 300awhp with either of those turbo's is do able. But its not very easy.
Maybe try looking at Forced Performance website. And of their bb turbo's or The green or red. |

| The FP red is definately not a 300hp street turbo. Green or 3052. |

I kick myself for getting a 16G. However, I got an amazing deal.
Garret came out with a GT55R
Knock yourself out:cool: |
