| Was searching for best places in E-town to take an MR2 - Rob at Project Omega Motorsports came up several times. Problem is, can't find any location or contact info! Where is Project Omega, and how can I contact them? |

| Good call. It's a bunch of great guys there. Especially if you have an SW20. By their own admission, they're not especially up on AW11 stuff... but they know what they're doing in general, so they're good for them too. |

| I just thought - don't expect to get your car in there quick. I was talking to Rob when I picked up my new engine (a month ago already? - I better get on that!) about water/methanol injection and he was saying they're busy into December. I wouldn't count on anything before the new year... Maybe if you have a quick job for them though. |

Thanks for that info - I've already put the Two to bed for the winter, so I was going to schedule an app't in the spring to get Rob's advice on where to go with my ride. Call me old fashioned, but my goal is to be able to register my Two in about 11 years as a vintage car, possibly one of the few left by that time. Most of them are getting up to 150-200k and not many are babied like Grandpa's old Caddy. So, I'll be looking for tips on maintenance and preventative care more than upgrades/mods.
From what I hear, either way, these are the guys in Edmonton I should go to!
Here's a clue on how old-school I want to keep it - I replaced the OEM shifter and boot last week, which were worn out and torn, with the same OEM parts ordered from Toyota. Looks great! I've detailed the interior myself and, barring a good shampoo of my seats and the fact that my steering wheel is a bit worn, it looks and smells like it just came off the lot. Still have the original tape/CD combo and it works very well.
As well, I ordered a leather steering cover (black on black) from LeatherSeats.com - the kind you have to sew on. I'm hoping it adds to the look rather than making my steering wheel look swollen. |

Good on ya. We need more guys like you to do stuff like that.
Of course, I bought mine for the track, so nothing's sacred...:D |

| Good for you...for me, maybe autocross, that's about it. Hitting pylons would be OK. :) |

| Another vote for Rob and his shop - sounds like I'd be nuts not to take my deuce in to him this spring. |

| How is he for price? From what I've gathered he is pretty much middle of the road. Although I'm sure that no-one knows more or is better than him in the Edmonton area. |

Bad news. I was in talking to Rob about getting my new engine sorted out and he's gonna squeeze me in since he figures it should be quick - and there's still a waiting list.
If you've got a major job, I'd give him a call on Monday and get something set up so that it can be done by the time you really want your car again. |

| Finally made my way to Project Omega to at least meet Rob and chat him up. You guys were right - he's a straight up guy and is really into MR2's. His yellow Gen 3 swap in the back (the engine is on the floor right now) is a nice looking piece of work. If I end up not selling my N/A, it will go to him in the spring and forever thereafter for my Deuce needs. |
