Looking to move into Edmonton somewhere, preferably south or West....but almost anywhere will work. I was considering getting a full house and then renting out rooms to other people....but I don't have the money or income to support renting a 1500$ or so house for a couple months with a damage deposit until I find roommates (thats almost 5k!).
Anyways, looking to be someones room mate. I am usually pretty quiet, and very responsible. I like to keep things fairly organized (by no means a clean freak though) and hate dirty dishes lying everywhere for days on end. I would also LOVE to move in with someone who doesn't mind me wrenching on a car in the garage (if there is one) every now and then.
I can pay up to 600$/month including utilities for the right unit. I would prefer furnished but can figure out a way to move my stuff in if not (I don't have a truck yet). I am not a dick, and I wouldn't mind hanging out with other room mates, we can all get shit faced together as long as no ones driving lol. I just want some good cool room mates and a place to call home, so everyone can get along and have fun.
I also work full time days and love my job, so you wont have problems collecting payment.

And if you were renting a room would it be temporary (As in, until you found an apartment/house of your own) or is it more long term? |

I would like to stay for a while....I can never say for sure because sometimes shit happens, but It would be nice to settle in for a year or more. I am working on my apprenticeship in plumbing and LOVE the company I am with, so I don't plan to move away.
As long as I can have some cool room mates and a decent place to live, and everyone gets along (im easy going) I would stay put. I am the type....why move if everything is good now?
As far as when I would like to move....the sooner the better I guess. I am just waiting to find a good place. |

My brother is moving out to be with fiancee and he'll be out of there in early/mid December. If you want to wait until then, and are willing to live in the NE (I think it's about 5 minutes to the city limits, so the accessibility to the southside should still be somewhat OK) then we can probably work something out. |

Ya sure just keep me updated. I am open minded on where I live...if I can get to work in 35 min or less I am happy. Maybe you could give me a rough location and I could do a qualifying time from work to there? lol.
Its more of who I live with, and if there is available garage space lol. I miss working on my car so much, it just gives me something to kill time with whenever and keep me busy. |
