Dolly is $39/day car hauler is $49 or $59/day if you return to same location.
The dollie is 660lbs, the car hauler is 2200lbs, may need to factor that in depending what your towing and with what.
Dolly is designed best for smaller fwd with good rear wheels.. the only prob is the lights on the dollie are hard to see. What I did is I went to a wreckers and got bulb holders for the car I'm towing and put them in the tail lights of the car being towed and connected them to a fairly long trailer wiring harness through the car, out the pass door, under the hood, out the bottom of the bumper to the trailer wiring on the tow vehicle... |

I've never had a problem getting a 4 wheel car trailer from UHaul. $50 a day and I take out the $10 a day insurance to cover everything and anything that could happen.
They do keep track of which trailers tow well on the highway and which ones don't, so they will ask you if you're just towing in town. In towners get the lighter trailers not really suited for the highway, so don't lie if you really are going out on the highway. You'll end up with a miserable trailer at highway speed. |

Every time I've rented a dolly or hauler from u-haul, I've never had a prob on the highway, and only once did I go there and they where out...
Magnetic lights work fine, depending on the car.... but on the wife's no way heh not risking scratches.. besides it's a blast to watch the reaction of other drivers whent he stock tail lights work onthe car being towed, then they realize it's being towed by another car :P
But yeah, I was gonna say pay the $10 for the insurance I did last time I got the car hauler.. one tire I dunno what happened.. it was running hot and seemed to be low on pressure so i called the U-haul line, and by the time they tire guys got out the there tire had shrunk stock size was 205-75-14, it looks like a 155-65-14. But the service call would have cost me $360. |

| i've rented a flatdeck carhauler from both flaman and beothuck, flaman's a little cheaper but rarely has any beothuck is only like 10 bucks more but they have like 5 flatdecks so they've usually always got them, plus they will rent you straps for 2 bucks and everything, at flaman i had to pay 40 bucks to buy straps |
