| Ummm for a first bike, I wouldnt get a litre bike.... thats my suggestion. PLus insurace is cheaper if you are under 750cc. |

cbrs have been knowen as the best all around bike for
years...the gsxr is a bit quicker but i hear its handling sufers a little bit in comparision... i had a cbr 600 nice bike , yeah they are quick
but how fast does a guy really need to go to be a donor... |

| Steve, I would deffinatly suggest looking into bike safety gear, riding classes, and anything else that will help teach you how to ride safely. Don't spare any expense on maintaining a bike, remembering it's only you and two wheels to the ground and that safety gear may come in handy on top of a good riding class... road rash can be a real shitty deal. It may sound dumb or gay or whatever but think safety first. |

heh.. saying a bike is "slow" is stupid.... Still MUCH MUCH faster than a non-heavily moded car :)
Ive had 2 friends own CBR600's, i dont think you'll be dissapointed
