Has the following happened to anyone?
I am waiting to receive a part in the mail, so I decide to track it. I notice that it was delievered already to someone else, and they signed for it with a completely different name than mine.
What did you do?
The fucker received a big package, that obviously wasn't his, signed for it, and I have never heard a word from him or the post office. What the fuck!!!!!!!!! |

| Did you have insurance on the package? |

I hope you called the post office already to give them shit.
I order a lot of stuff online and most of the time when the package gets to my place they just hand it to me and leave. Apparently they're pretty busy right now because lots of people are buying their christmas presents online with the dollar being stong. |

They were sayin on the news, right after our dollar was on par, that canadapost was experiencing a rush greater then the Christmas rush due to the strong dollar.
I bet they are under staffed and stressed |

| No I don't think I had insurance. But I don't think that matters, because it shows that someone signed for it, and I have the receipts to prove that it is mine, and he doesn't. |

Sam, was it sent by registered mail? If so then the post office is up shit creek because you didn't sign for it. Usually parcels like that require signatures you have to physically go to the post office and show ID and then they release it to you. It sounds like that isn't the case. Good luck and let us know. I think my new car I'm going to get it dismantled and shipped up using USPS/Canada post so that I don't have to pay the stupid taxes at the border. I will put it together at my house.

| this happened to me a few years back when they first released the Xbox 360. some guy said he didnt receive it,but my tracking number says it was delivered. the guy made a complaint through paypay and i had to return his money. i was basically screwed over by canada post. I bought insurance and they said since someone received it there is no compensation. I even requested to see the signature and it was a line. I was pretty pissed. |

How can you get your stuff back if he doesn't want to give it up? I hope you paid by credit card Sam, you should call them and CHARGEBACK. (You didn't receive your goods).
Or paypal (buyer protection rocks!). That's why Paypal is easily the ONLY way to buy stuff online. First you get paypal protection. Then you can still go to your credit card company. I don't even bother with Canadapost/UPS etc. If I don't get my stuff, I call up good ole Visa. They never let me down.
And getting Insurance on shipping a package is plain stupid, you're giving your money away (if you are the recivee). |

that won't work. You will get dinged over $5000 dollars in COD charges unless the seller sends it as a gift. I had to pay $380 dollars on something valued at $4000. I am sure your car would be worth 30-40k. |

I don't honestly know. It was sent from Japan, and I believe they require a signature.
And JP, I am not sure, but I either payed by Paypal or VISA, so if I call Canada Post and they tell me to fuck off, I will file something with Paypal or VISA. |

I'm lucky I have good nieghbors otherwise I probably would of never seen the package. same thing happened with several cell phones that were shipped through ups |

CP will have the address it was delivered to, and who the parcell was registered on that peritcular driver of that shipment, then theyll go over to Mr. i like to scam parcells, and believe it or not he can be charged, opening someone elses mail is a criminal offence and in this case also theft.
Uncle Sam gets ripped off lool |
