I'll warn you now - make sure the shop you get to do it YOU check out. My neighbour used to tell me horror stories of bad installs - because everyone would go to him to fix them right after someone fucked them up.

Insomniac
I don't know, I'd probably go to a good old V8 go fast shop like Extreme.

A N02 system is an N02 system, doesn't matter if it's on a v8 or import, they all work the same.

Badazz
The only diffrence i have seen is the rpm in wich you can arm the system, lower rpm in a 4 banger= boom!

The NXL System is only available for the Honda B16/Type R. It gives you an range adjustment of 40 - 60 - 90 HP.
The kit goes for $1280 US, I am working on getting you CAD pricing.

Pro Drag
$1400 Canadian Dollar's for the above mentioned system.
Here's the pitch direct from NX's Website:
"Nitrous Express introduces the "NXL" nozzle with Integrated Rail Technology. This plug-and-play, direct-port nozzle system is available for four, six, and eight cylinder applications. There is no drilling required, no engine disassembly and no solenoids to mount. The entire nitrous system is self-contained in the high-flow fuel rail. Systems come complete with bottle, jetting, custom insulated ditribution lines, and all installation hardware. This hi-tech direct port system comes with a wiring harness for a true plug-and-play system. The NXL and rail only took NX technicians 30 minutes to install on our R&D Honda Civic and the NXL made an astounding 90hp at the wheels in stock form."

ok airhead...unfortunatley for you im one of the few on this board who actuallys runs nitrous, so till you can back up your statements STFU!

how does low rpm=equal boom? ignorant statement if you ask me, what are you trying to say here buddy?

Badazz
Try hitting your switch at 2000rpm on a 75 shot. you will be picking you aircleaner (which will resemble a crushed pop can) off the road. If the intake is receiving more No2 then the engine is breathing. it will back fire. I have seen this many times. On a engine with larger displacement this wont happen. :P

blk240sx
well that wont happed because this system ports thenitrous and fuel at the same site on the fuel rail instead of the intake

2) Thread hijacking is disrespectful.

Personally I don't mind seeing a few funny remarks, or a few off-topic comments, but when it completely takes over the original thread, then please, it has to stop because some people may not like it.

And Hey, start a new thread if you got something to say

4) Please be respectful of other members and moderators.

Don't start a flame war, or attack another user. This action is not welcome here PERIOD.

Even if a member asks a question that you KNOW has been asked about a million times over, don't slam the poor user, just pass it on by. Eventually a kind board member will respond.

Heh heh heh, hopefully we will see about that.

Blk240sx: The NX site says that they have kits for all 4, 6 and 8 cylinders but I think they jumped the gun a little bit.

redbaron303
Leno, shouldn't you be trying to get his business into your shop????

Quit trying to take away from another shops post, the question wasn't asked "can you bash another shop and send me somewhere" it was asked "wonderinf if anyone can get me pricing on the complete setup and istalation costs in the city." So Leno, being from the city, why not let him know what YOUR shop can do for him and why he should take it there instead of who he should not take it to?!

Steve - Somebody mentioned either in this post or another one (not going back to look) that you should take the car to a good ol american muscle shop... I'm sure that would be the best, since they've been doing nitroused motors for a while if you find a good shop...
