| I'm interested in purchasing the Evolution that is currently in transit from Japan. How would the car be made DOT compliant once it arrives in Alberta? Will you provide the necessary modifications (or offer the services) to make it illegible for registration? |

We have yet to receive any Lancers in stock yet, so we haven't looked into DOT head lamp compliance. We don't pass out of province inspections or comply our vehicles as of earlier this year. Daytime running lights and DOT head lamps are an inspection requirement only in my opinion, it is up to the discretion of the inspector to determine whether or not certain equipment fails or not. Daytime running lights and DOT head lamps are not necessarily required under the Alberta Traffic Safety Act. About the only thing I can see that a Lancer would need is a rear side marker to be street legal in Alberta.
You really need to look into the equipment regulations to see that certain equipment is required for out of province inspection and that the Alberta Traffic Safety Act contradicts the out of province inspection requirement. |

| headlights and body panels for the evo 1-3 can be taken off a Mistubishi mirage 4dr of the same year, I also believe (don't quote me though) the 4dr eagle summit headlight is compatible. |
