Description :

Well the time has finally come to get rid of my baby because my wife and I just had a real one :P. I no longer have the time for a project car right now and need a second car that that will accommodate my wife and 2 daughters better. I have taken great care of this car for the last 3 and a half years and hope it will go to a good home. I will not reply to low ballers and for the amount of work and money poured into the car I think the price is very reasonable. The older man that sold it to me took great care of it before me and always had it serviced at Calgary Honda since new and I continued making sure everything was working great on it.

Here is my project thread on Beyond.ca: http://forums.beyond.ca/st/160566/turbo-install/

Mr_ET
Did I mention that to the best of my knowledge, this car has not been in any accidents in it's 17 year life.

Mr_ET
bump would the car be more appealing without the turbo kit on at a lower price?:dunno:

tonka-turbo
leave the turbo on no one wants a non turbo civic for like 4k could you give me a rough estimate on hp

Ayeso
Good luck on the price... its hard selling such an old car for decent money.

I tried selling my EF with a Turbo b18 setup for 4500 and had trouble.. and it had really new electron pearl blue paint as well...

I ended up settling for 3750 for it with a b16 in it.

Mr_ET
It all depends on the overall package, anyone who has seen the car in person will tell you this car is mint in and out and that what I'm asking is very fair for what I've invested.

I would estimate hp at around 140-145 whp at the moment with it street tuned and on the wastegate's 7psi spring.

In any case appreciate the comments

to give you guys an idea the car ran 14.9@93 at Racecity last year and if I knew how to launch better that could have been around 14.6.

Oh I agree completely, I think its worth that much as well its just hard to sell it for that.

I had min body, suspension, exhaust, integra armrest with cupholders, a stereo, etc.. and I was over the 200hp mark. but had little to no interest because even thoguh its had 5-10k put into it, its still an 89 civic.

But goodluck with the sale, maybe youll have better luck then I did.

That was my ef <3 If i wanted to buy a nice daily id snag this thing but its not in the budget :(

Mr_ET
I think to be fair here, and don't take this the wrong way, mine is much closer to stock looking from the outside and that usually attracts more buyers. I did not paint the trim and I also am selling a 91 and not an 89.

Mine is also the SI model, I am not sure about yours from that picture. Another thing is that mine was repainted the stock rio red color so everything still matches. I am guessing yours probably had an engine bay that was another color.

Finally unless you had stock motor mounts welded in I am guessing that with either the b18 or b16 the frame would vibrate quite heavily at idle. That is one of the reasons I went turbo d as out of boost it feels exactly like a stock civic.

In any case my price is OBO so throw me some offers guys and I'll see what I can do.

Cheers!

Smokey
I hope you get good coin for yours to keep the market value up. I've got a 1990 Ef hatch with a b18b turbo...I was wondering if i'd be able to unload it for 5k if i can ever give her up. Worst case you can part it out, it really seems like that's what you have to do with modded cars, they aren't worth shit. Next car i buy will already be modded, the savings on parts are incredible.

KramDizzle
I LOVE those rims..
Where did you buy them??
how much??
I'm pretty sure your not willing to part them..
But if you ever were...
Id probably take them off your hands lol..

Mr_ET
Hey guys, not looking to part anything at this time but the rims are rota gt3's in royal black with polished lip 15X7.

You can get them at speedtech in Calgary, I am not sure about Edmonton. I purchased them online on Honda Tech from a wheels and tires marketplace sponsor.

I bought a new Honda Fit that will be delived at the latest December 31st. I am willing to go a little more aggressive on the price for the right buyer to have it gone before then.

thx

Etienne

edit winter tires and wheels now included in the price:thumbup:
